Okay, I got my FFC in the mail today...all is well, exept one thing. I paid $4.10 for shipping...shipping only cost $0.60 though, and its not like the packaging (a plane envelope) accounts for the other $3.50.

Why must online stores do this to us? sad.gif

err ... if it was from here at lumenlab ... then it would have been in a Priority package, which priority with tracking number is a little more than $4 ...

Think yourself lucky you dont have to pay for everything to be shipped across the Atlantic like I did.

I payed about $37 to get my lenses and evercools shipped!

na, it only cost 60 cents (it said on the envolope). but really, i'm not worried about it. The real killer is customs. I've got 2 packages for this pj so far (real packages, not just small things), and i've paid more than $30 in customs...ouch. but oh well, what can you do.

Online stores usually overcharge, they can tell you many reasons why they do that, I guess it would be the "Handling" part of "shipping & handling". Its fine for me, as long as they keep it reasonably.

I got my package after paying "ransom@customs" too, about $35

I sell alot of things on ebay and find it easier to set your shipping as a flat rate. Packages usually cost between $.50 and $1 unless you buy in large quantities, and shipping will vary widely with distance from the shipper. The remaining amount you pay for is in the handling, which is time + travel to the post office (with todays gas prices could be costly).
