Hi All,

I know the 520D is really popular around here, so I'm wondering how people have solved this problem. When the 520d is stripped the little circuit board with extremely short FFC wires gets in your way. That is, if you wanted to mount the fresnel perfectly centered with the LCD, you have to bend those FFC downward (almost 180degrees from where they started).

So what have you all done to get around this?

I'm thinking of cutting the fresnel (take off about 1cm from the bottom), but that seems a bit extreme.

Hmmn ... here is the only snapshot I have of when I had my CMV .... It fit in the box at almost a perfectly straight angle

The fresnel only needs to sit a little bit below the LCD rim
