Anyone heard of FOGScreen?

I think it's cool , though not yet stable.
Mikau
No. But I already invented it. Lol. In my head at least... unsure.gif

The way smoke glows when light hits it gave me the idea. Any pics?
Haku
You mean something like this?

lol. Good point. Perhaps if it were restricted to a tight spot, for example between two pieces of glass.

This reminds me of something... iwantoneofthose.com had an april fools joke that was a screen that projected into air and was just a strip that you layed on your desk.

Speaking of amusing things on iwantoneofthose... http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/ZZL39JET.htm

OK $2.50/per gallon x 276 gallons (assuming US not Imperial gallons) $690 to fill up or buy the parts for a projector??? I think I'll take the projector at least untill fuel prices come down biggrin.gif .
Haku
"Customers Also Bought: Magnetic Tax Disc." laugh.gif laugh.gif
MMc
Oh god not the whole fuel prices debate again please!! biggrin.gif

And Haku, I'm sure fighter jets are taxed too! Its just somewhat harder for the authorities to read your tax disc when your on a journey!

One disadvantage I can think of with a fogscreen, what happens if you sneeze?

hehe. Two pieces of glass. Definitly.
Mikau
Perhaps if you had a cycle system to dump a fine power through a restricted area, between two pieces of glass, maybe a small air flow system to keep the powder in the air (though you'd need filters to keep the power from getting sucked out).

But you know, I find nothing works better then just a smooth white surface.. mellow.gif

Sounds cool for an RPTV, but how would you keep the fog circulating in there? Wouldn't it condense on the glass?

This technology is now being used on the Pirates ride at Disneyland. Davy Jones warning you is the image. Your boat sail right through him.

Very cool
