When projecting and image from my PJ I get a square image except for the bottom right which is kind of going upward. Does anybody has an idea of what may be causing this.
Everything is lined up. One thing is that my front fresnel the center is kind of offset but I move it a little to the side so that both fresnel are lined up..
Any ideas?
This is what my screen looks like
I should say: This is what my projected image looks like. The screen is fine and it is leveled

It looks like your fresnal may be off on one side, thats the only way that could happen, its kinda like an unwanted keystoning going on... At least thats what it looks like to me..

Do you have a keystone corrector? It seems your projector is not perfectly centered to your screen.

Im not doing any Keystone correction. The lense is projecting to the middle of the screen. Tried moving both the fwd and aft fresnel with no luck. Could it be that the fwd fresnel is defective?

It looks like either the right or left side of the fresnal is further forward than the other not the top or bottom. If its not that I wonder if your triplet is somehow in a little crooked, but I'm not an expert, maybe some others here have a better idea...

Go back and recheck all your measurements. Somethings off.
Maybe one of those dislexic moments when you mark X and 3/8 instead of X and 5/8.

Check your field fresnel. It seems like you may not have it completely square to the LCD, collimator fresnel, and triplet. If your bottom right corner of the field fresnel is slightly futher from the LCD than the other corners, you will see this type of a pattern; like someone else mentioned, it's "unwanted" keystoning. Good luck!

I agree. Your Fresnel is NOT FLAT. It has a slight bend in it in that corner.

don't forget it is reveresed. looks like upper rt. corner (if looking from front of projector) is further from lcd.

One other thing. Check to make sure the wall is flat and that the pj is perpendicular to it. Sometimes its the simples things.
