I was wondering if anyone else has tried extending the wires that connect from the lcd control board to the circuit board on the back of the monitor's buttons. I want to mount the buttons on the back of the projector instead of on the side like some others have done without extending the wires. Does anyone see a problem with hacking up the wires and inserting more wire between the two ends to make them longer?

pun15her has extended the wires on his Benq FP567s control panel, as you're only extending button wires there shouldn't be any problem at all with extending to whatever length you want.
