Ok, so while I'm getting my rev. 2.0 projector going (still waiting on a LCD), I thought I'd share on the progress of my home theater setup. Basically, I'm starting with a HTD Level 3 speaker system that I got on ebay for $300 shipped, and a Harman Kardon AVR 320 that I bought on ebay for $200 shipped (but hasnt come in yet). The receiver will go in the spot above the center channel speaker. Powering these speakers with my Klipsch Promedia subwoofer amplified outputs can get really loud, even though it is only pushing 60w/ch supposedly (probably less). And they sound great, even though the sub is crossing them over at 160hz (they go down to 45ish). So I can't wait to open them up with the Harman Kardon! biggrin.gif

So here are the pics of my progress. I'll be building some speaker stands out of some MDF in a little while if my HT buddy doesnt come through with his employee discount. I'm also gonna put some speaker spikes on the sub, because when I was moving it I broke one of the feet off beyond repair and took off all the rest to compensate blink.gif

Actually, thats old carpet from my sister's old dorm room. I didnt want to mess up the nice permanent carpet with all my sawing and crap biggrin.gif

Plus its nicer to lay on for movie watching, and its dark.

The guy I bought it from on ebay must've not used it at all, the protective plastic on the front was still on there!!! And on the remote too!!! There isnt a scratch or mark anywhere on this thing. Not even a fingerprint (well, until I got to it of course.)
