I have been looking at another monitor recently and it was the dell w1700 I noticed it has a 25ms response time and a 400:1 contrast seems kinda low? dell usually has some pretty good specs anyone know why it would be so low, maybe mis quoted?

another option is these two the first is better specs but no dvi

this second has a 600:1 contrast ratio but back to 25ms response time

anyone think any of these are any good? I know no one will know if they are stripable but from a spec side of things which of these is better?

man, it takes more than an hour for people to reply here, so just relax a bit. Second, I doubt Dell misquoted you the specs on their monitor. Third, DVI will only work for you if you either plug a computer in to it, or spend tons of money on a DVI capable scaler (they aren't cheap, hundreds of dollars). BUT the Pacco has S-Video, component and composite inputs, so you don't NEED a scaler for it, but I am not sure how the quality will be. It's got good stats, the pixel pitch could be lower, but whatever.

It is also important to notice that neither of those monitors have DVI, just the 15 pin Dsub connectors.
