I was looking around ebay for a cheap LCD Panel and I stumbled across this little gem. It's an Infocus PowerView 950 Projection Panel. It's 10.4", 1024x768, and displays 1.4 Million Colors. Not great, but no bad either. Here's some screen shots from it. Don't bash me too bad. Oh yeah, it's sitting on a 3M OHP 360w 82v.

Looks like you got lucky with that panel I'm too scared to get one from e-bay most say that they aren't tested and don't come with cables. sad.gif

I have to come clean. I've been buying and selling projection panels on and off ebay for a couple of years. I bought just about every make and model. I've also gotten quite skilled at making custom cables for these panels. This has been one of my best scores and the one I will keep for myself. If you have any questions about a particular panel being offered on ebay feel free to ask, I maybe able to help. My favorite and probably most durable panels are made by Sharp and Infocus.

Remember though, these panels are for quick and easy home theater not for best home theater. Most will range from 640x480 to 1024x768 and anywhere from 20 -30 ms response time. Lumenlab projectors are the best, for home theater.

SO does that mean you might have one available smile.gif. If you you actualy have one or two of those available at reasonable specs I might be willing to purchase one from you. I do check e-bay every once in awhile to see if any of them show up seeing as though you buy so much it could explain why they disapear so quickly:)

or even if you happen to have ebay auctions going, maybe we could get your ebay user ID so we can check up now & then?
I've always been weary of buying off ebay usually due to lack of specs.
I have yet to purchase anything for my PJ yet, still thinking it through.
I hope to buy my plans soon so I can get access to the compatible/incompatible monitor list. I'd hate to spend any $$ on something that I don't need.

Well here is one that I need some light shed on (InFocus 7600XGA LCD Projection Panel)seems to be a nice enough screen resolution up 1024-760 and it's made to take up to a 600w lamp. Ohh man just noticed it only pushes out 24,000 colors sad.gif. The only thing I like about these panels is that they are made to take a backlight.

Don't waste your money on that one it's passive matrix. It will display Still photos, but movies look horrible. I'm sorry I don't have aything at this time and my sources are what they used to be lately. If I do have anything to sell I promise to list them in the For Sale Section of Lumenlab first. If you have a question about a projection panel on ebay just send me the item number and I'll let you know what I can about it. When doing searches try the following:
Projection Panel
Projector Panel
Sharp qa
Nview
Proxima
Polaroid
Infocus
Display Panel
Overhead Panel
Apollo Q2
Like I've said before, if your looking for quick and trouble free Home Theater this is the way to go. You don't have to spend alot for a good old movie night. laugh.gif
