While waiting for the euro 240V ballasts to come in stock i've been searching around and found someone selling these on ebay.co.uk

Would these be ok as is with safety glass already installed?

Or would they need a bit of modification, like exposing the bulb and fitting a better reflector?

Or are they no good at all?
