I've seen a lot front end portal's for systems (XBMC, M$, etc;)

I ran into this one awhile back and hadn't seen it here yet.

Personally, I don't get it though. I am not too lazy to click start/programs or find the files I need in thier respective folders.

I have not seen it. Do you have a link? I'll check anything out that is open source and usually send some initial feedback to the dev team. Since I am an utter n00b it helps them develop to a larger community base.

I have a PVR-500MCE card which is just now getting support... so I've been holding my breath to switch over from SageTV (M$ based).
