A question for you:
Yours is among the brightest, clearest images I have seen in a non-tweaked projector. I am guessing that it was not just dumb luck!

Can you outline how you measured and ultimately placed your optics train so that everything was aligned correctly? It would help me in my construction immensely! Thanks!!
Pun - yeah man, I will take a picture of the box just for you.

I have my kids every other week and I had just finished about the time they came back to my house so I couldn't work on the proj at all though I intend to finish it soon

Just gotta stop re-watching every movie I have "just to see" how it looks or re-installing every game to get the "real" experience. hehe
Sonic, thanks for your kind words dude. Well, the only thing I can figure thats helped me out alot is the aluminum siding around the back half of my box. Other than that I followed the distance chart to the T. using the 8 13/16 from light to frensel (pronounce Frenel I just found out) and like 12 5/8" from the 2nd frensel to the triplet. My light and reflector aren't even attached to the box so it should be easy to manipulate them. If you would like I will post pix with dimensions tonight when I get home.
Specifically,
1) How did you square everything up during construction:
With a t-square? Level?
Something different?
2) How did you measure the separation between the components:
Did you mark the locations on the side of the box before construction?
Use a string with the distances marked off and a level? Laser level?
Simply use a tape measure after construction?
None of the above?
As I said before, I think your images are quite stellar, especially given you haven't tweaked yet. The focus is extremely sharp and the image is bright from corner to corner. This indicates to me that the optics have been aligned exceptionally well. Congrats on the build, and share the wealth, let us emulate your success! I want that kind of quality, man!!!
