Do I count 16 pins? You will have to remove it from the connector and take a close up of the end next to a metric rule to be sure (careful with the other end). Is it 8mm wide? If so a 16pin/5mm pitch extention would probably work. It's in the store.

Ok my cable measures 11/32 which i think is 8mm, i dont have a metric ruler but i think thats right, and yes its 16 pins.

Yeah it's almost surely a 16pin/.5mm pitch. I would get the Lumenlab extention and give it a go. You really don't have other options other than reassembling it or microsoldering wires. The Lumenlab extentions are a little thick to fit easily into some connectors so take your time and read up on how others have delt with doing their extentions. Start in the reference and tutorials forum.
