Hello All:

I just wanted to show some of my results from my first projector. I can't say enough that this site is awesome I learned a lot about the entire process. I based most of my desing using vroom plog. I will post pics of the box later. Here is my setup.

Lumenlab standard light kit 400W - electronic ballast
Lumenlab Standard lense and freshnel
slusher box - inside painted black
Samsung 512N LCD
Reflector - IKEA Soare napkin
2 - evercool fans
1 - 120DC fan
Thermoswitch
X10 Lexan

Any comments are welcome. I took this pics using a 2 megapixel camera so the images are not blurry in the original setup. I can't seem to take a good still pics.

I hope to borrow a camera from someone. I have a 7 year old camera that is on it's leg. It takes horrible pictures.

Is your box staying cool? Where did you put the 120DC fan?
pibe75
My box stays cool around 78 degrees, when I bought the slusher box it came with the 120 fan hole at the back bottom of the case. See the pics below. I covered any gaps with velcro. Here are some outdated pics of the box I took 2 weeks ago.

Hey nice results!
I'm starting mine in a few hours and I've a question for you, what's the distance between the edge of the reflector and the lamp please?

Thank you!

Ah nevermind, I found the answer in this post.

Why are the lenses so far apart? I thought the rear one was supposed like 5/8 from the lcd and the front on like 13/16. Yours looks like there about 2 or 3 inches apart...
