What is a good provider of a template glass plate? URL(s), please. I want to do all this online.
Thought about getting one cut for me at [url lost ahem ..] but they require a minimum order of like $35 plus shipping and the price for the dimensions I quoted was like $7.
Also, what dimensions should we get? 1/8"T x 11"H x14"W?
If we get a larger plate, can tempered glass such as this be easily cut to size? If so, what kind of saw works, without cracking or shattering it?

Mine is 12"x10"... You can get it from any glass company should be available locally. also make sure they do not stamp it.

I am pretty sure you have to order it the size you need. I don't think it can be cut after the glass in tempered.

Can't cut tempered unless you have a diamond saw.

I tried to drill a hole in tempered glass. The first 2 holes i needed went fine. On the last one, I let the bit get too hot, and the whole window shattered into little peices. I was trying to rig a window in my car. I tried to glue it 10 times with 10 different adhesives that were recommended for glass.
I just bought a new window with the mount factory installed.

Sounds like he was trying to replace a side window and save some money and glue the sucker in place but I guess it kept falling out.
