Hey Guys, I have been reading up on here for some time now and finally dove into building this. I'm not to sure on how to post pictures, so I will just have a link to my website. So feel free to check it out and make comments. I will be adding more pictures soon.

What I got:

CMV 15" LCD w/ DVI
LL Lens Kit
Ikea Reflector
Eye 6500k 90 CRI Lamp
Standard M59 ballast
Oak plywood box with cherry oak stain.

No the hardest part of this whole project will be finding a wall space big enough in my Tiny apartment to fit the screen biggrin.gif

I added some more pictures on the site. I have a few shots of the results so far! It looks amazing!!!! I should hopefully have some more of the finished box some time soon.

Hey thanks guys... I have already watched like 5 movies on it and I just finished it. I'm pretty happy with how everything has turned out. Hopefully I will have more picts of the box and the details there soon.

How would you guys rate my picture based on my newest nemo picture on my site? This was my first projector and I am super excited about how well it turned out. I can hardly get my friends out the door anymore! They keep begging for "just one more movie"

I will hopefully have 5th element soon biggrin.gif

good work!

Just a thought - where are your fans ? tucked away behind the flashing? How does that affect the overall temp?

sorry about all the questions biggrin.gif
darbronnoco
oh no worries.... I added a few more pictures for you guys of the box. Take a look because I think it really turned out nice. The fan is mounted on the back of the box. There is a tunnel by the power coil which allows the air to flow through. It runs at a constant 95 degrees F. and I don't even have everything sealed up totally. So far I am really pleased with the results.

NIce pictures of Ireland, when were you there?
darbronnoco
Hey yeah I was confused about the Ireland question until I saw I still had those links posted lol. smile.gif I was actually there this last summer, taking classes at the National University Ireland, Galway. I had a blast there. I just got 5th Element from my online blockbuster thing so I should have some more pictures up there soon.

I Just added the classic 5th Element Photo. Also my box is running at a constant 93 degrees F after I screwed in the switch panel. So thats pretty sweet. Also I found out that my computer keeps defaulting back to the non adjusted calabration so I have to change that everytime. :/ I keep forgetting so I've missed out on the best quality a few times. Still amazing. Its funny how everyone at my work didn't think this would turn out and when they saw the pictures their jaws dropped. Now they are asking me questions and thinking about making their own.
