I saw something similar a while back on Discovery channel about some commercial buildings and skyscrapers incorporating that into the design. I think it's a cool idea to save energy. Just imagine a projector with a light source that has more than enough lumens and a color rendering index of 100. I'm in! Wonder how much it costs? Hopefully in the near future I can get my home completely off the electric companies grid. Then maybe I'll retire and play bigscreen video games till I die.

Nice... Could come in handy in the barn as well... though birds might build a nest in the fiberoptic cables.

Assuming this could somehow be used with a DIY PJ project, there would really only be two things I could think of that would make it not work: heat, and the fact that the sun isn't out at night, as seeing as how night is the best time to watch movies, we'd be boned.

Biggest problem I thought of is how variable sunlight is to an area. Damn clouds! Still a great idea though. We don't harness the energy of the sun nearly enough.
