am i supposed to have the brightness and contrast all the way up on my lcd...i'm using a small 7" lcd and a 25w mh bulb and the image colors when projected are bright for example bright red and kinda make the video a little fuzzy.havent opened it back up yes to adjust anything ...but should i lower the brightness and contrast controls ?? ontrols ??

25w? well a little more info would be helpful to try to help you out, maybe some pics?

what panel, bulb, setup, projector?

From my experience so far, I'd turn brightness up full, but leave contrast at nearly the default setting. Too much contrast will have the effect of washing out parts of the image, and may make it look fuzzy. This worked well for me on my Benq 557s, but it may not be the ideal setting for all LCDs. Give it a try though.

Plug in a star wars dvd and find thx under options. There is a video adjustment series with about 5 or 6 different adjustments you can make.

I think that's got to be one of the easiest way to standardize peoples results for comparisons.
