Sorry guys this might have been detailed elsewhere, but I need a quick response: what size hole will I need to make in my enclosure for the projection lens? it hasn't arrived yet, and I'm having someone build my enclosure now. Thanks smile.gif

I believe its 2 and 3/4"

Thanks man. I was just in a rush and couldn't find a post where it was mentioned before wink.gif

That is of course slightly too big, so either cover the lens' case with some felt, or line the hole with it to take up the slack. Assuming you want a movable lens for focusing, otherwise make the wood panel it's bolted to movable or some such mod.

perhaps I could use some thin tubing, maybe make it telescopic to give a 1.5 inch movement? would this be practical?
brainchild
The tube would have to be a much larger diameter than the lens so as not to interfere with the lens' field of view.

True. I might have another enclosure-front cut so I can experiment with this idea cool.gif
