All my friends love the results from my projector. They tell me that there is a paint that I can buy that works just like a screen. They tell me that it is invisable during the day but it will light up the screen at night. One told me about an infomercial he watched where they rolled the paint on the wall while the image was projecting, and the difference was amazing.

I haven't heard of this here which makes me believe its all a load of crap, but I thought I should at least ask...Does this exist?

My image is 172" diagonally. I don't want to build an actual screen that long. I live in an apartment, so I'm not sure if I should be painting the walls, but if its invisable..... biggrin.gif

I believe it was the screen goo. Here's a link where they did a theater room out of an average living room, with invisible speakers and all...pretty cool...

That goo stuff looks good, but it is expensive, especially w/ a 170" screen. Has anybody developed a homemade "goo" formula? My screen looks real good just projecting on my white wall, but my whites could be whiter. Any recommendations?

How bout this stuff? Cheaper then goo but not by much. Any ideas?

There's a house paint color that the Home Depot sells called "silver screen". I think I read over at diyaudio that this was suppose to be a good alternative to the more expensive paint options out there.

just a thought...
