Hi, does anyone know what is the size of the mounting nuts for the E39 mogul base ? Atlantalightbulb doesn't include the nuts with the mogul base so I have to drop by my local hardware store to find some.

The LL Mogul Socket doesn't include screws either. I ended up taking the socket to Home Depot with me and they recommended one after trying various sizes.

I was initially thinking that I needed a machine threaded screw, but since I'm attaching it directly to my box, I used a 1 inch wood screw (#6 is what they call the diameter). Try that size.

sigh, I don't get it, why can't they just give me the two darn nuts to save me the trouble.

I belive its a #6 bolt and nut, think thats what I used

I seem to recall I had to get a metric machine screw... and home depot was no help since the metric selection is severely limited.

Is the US the only place on earth left using the imperial system?
