This thing seems pretty cool.

It sort of reminds me of the sony black technology in that it only reflects the light from the projector. Now I just need to scratch together $15K.

Wow that's---hell there's no other word for it--pretty. But I think I could find a much better way to use 15,000 dollars.

Wow what a waste of a good projector - you could be watching
a movie filling up the entire wall - but for $15,000 you get to watch
it on a 40inch screen - and you could do the same with frosted
glass or real close

yep pretty - but still lame

Now if it did 3D - that would be cool - still would not pay $15,000

A bit silly having such a small screen in the middle of the room but the possibilties like using that stuff as an outside window are there. You could watch films in the garden on your $15000+ patio doors.

Went to the manufacturer website and saw the clips of claro in action at Harrods. Very cool, but as advertised, the video playing is transparent. Unless the pics above of claro are a different screen film specially made for a home Claro version, then the video won't look like the pics above.

Excellent for window displays though, and harrods marketing budget.

I wonder if the upcoming LL 8" look great projecting on a pane of glass, that has a magic film inside. I wonder what that thin transparent film is made of, if it is a film.

So could we make one of these by hacking up a dead rear projection TV and using the screen from it?
hardflip
Or you can just buy the screens

Or you could jump right on in there and try making a holodeck straight off. biggrin.gif

I wonder what the speakers sound like..

I can think of a better way to use a projector.
