Big newbie here, just about ready to order some parts after reading pages and pages of guides and forums. Was wondering about a few parts if they would be suitable. I don't know a whole lot about electrical stuff such as the lighting or ballasts so I was wondering if this would work. It is cheaper than the one here at LL and I am on a tighter budget (have about 400). Let me know if this is suitable please

BTW I just wanted to say that all the projects I've seen here are amazing and I can't wait to get started on this. If I get the close to results I've seen here, I will be incredibly happy.

It is suitable, however the ED37 lamp is rather large and will have to be placed diagonally in a standard size box.

If you wish to be able to place the lamp horizontally, you would need to get an ED28, BT28 or you could squeeze in a T15. Look for horizontal or universal mounting spec on the lamp and don't forget to pick a lamp that has the same ANSI rating as the ballast(M59).
