Hi, I am new to these forums, but has anyone tried what Joann Fabric calls "Duck cloth" for a DIY projector backdrop? It is a very heavy material (reminds me of canvas). It comes in many colors including white. It is very popular for DIY backdrops for photography. It is pretty cheap on sale, I just I bought a bunch of the white recently at Joann for $3 or $4 a yard by 60" wide (I think). I haven't tried it out though in a projector applicaton (because I haven't made a projector yet). I plan on joining 2 pieces together for my photography backdrop using iron on seam tape.
