I am trying to figure the best way to cut the square holes I will need for my rocker switches. Is there another way beside me having to buy one of those reciprocating saw because they are expensive especially for just a one time use. I know this might sound like a simplistic question but I'll admit I'm still pretty green at some of these things.

you could always drill holes around the perimeter of where the hole is supposed to be, then use a small (enough to fit) file to sand it down enough for your needs/fit.

There are some outlet covers that you could use for your rocker switches to cover up a circular hole, and also there are rocker switches that are round!

Drill corners, use JigSaw with blade that will fit in drill holes, little cuts at a time grasshopper biggrin.gif

I drilled holes then used chisels to make the corners.

I finally just found some round switches at radio shack. Had to go to like three diff ones though.
