Hi, I recently viewed a thread where someone said that you can have your fresnel lenses pre-cut for you. I am very interested, having already screwed one set of lenses, but I cannot find the page.

Do I go through the standard ordering page? Is it possible to have them cut, then sent to me, or do I have to order them and send them to someone to be cut once the package is recieved? Who do I contact? Why do I have so many questions?

For any of you mods, I think you should mention this somewhere as a sticky in the forums, or in the store when buying the lenses. Of course, I am a mere mortal so please feel free to bash me on the pancreas with a candlestick for making such a heinous suggestion.

Sorry to bring up a dead topic, but I'm at a bit of a holdback in my projector.

I haves sent multiple emails to "Chuck" without any reply whatsoever. It's been over a month since the first email that I've sent. My project cannot go on until I can get the lenses cut, as I have already wasted $40 on fresnels that I screwed up trying to cut.

If anyone has any suggestions/comments please reply. Thank you!

What size do you need?

Sorry for how long it took for me to respond. I need them to be 13cm x 17cm exactly. (Unless you have any reason to reccomend otherwise, [having the lenses bigger than the lcd]. I understand that you're doing an 8" hami project yourself.)

If this size is possible, could you possibly bill my paypal account for the amount? A response in this topic telling me what to do would be good too.
