I have been trying to find a site to download dts, thx, and Dolby Digital trailers to burn to a dvd. Does anyone know of a site that has these? I know some older dvds used to include the trailers also. Does anyone remember a movie that had the dts "flying disc" trailer? If so I can just rent it and copy it. Thanks.

Try Close Encounetrs special edition or The Fifth Element two discer. as for another dts trailer I have one that was never avilable to my knowlege on any consumer dvd. It says dts on the trailer but for some reason my powerdvd only recognizes it as dolby digital 5.1. It sounds kickass anyway. in just a minute i'll post a couple of screenies from inside powerdvd.

That one looks great. I found the one I was looking for on "Panic Room". I found a site that has most of the Dolby Digital and DTS and THX trailers in .vob format. However I don't seem to be able to download them. Don't know why. When I try to use "save targe as" on Internet Explorer, it only will copy the webpage. When I click on the file it downloads it in my browser and then does nothing. I can't find it in any temp folders or caches either. The site is cinenow.com. They have the dts trailer that you posted. I think I might just try and find a demo dvd that has some of them on it. I think I heard of a couple. Cant think of the names of them off hand. Thanks.

I'm on a Mac and had the same problem with Safari on cinenow.com. I tried Firefox and it worked. You really should be using Firefox instead of IE anyway smile.gif

Hope this helps,

I finally got the trailers on Cinenow to work. Had to wait for them to download and then when my browser would't play them I just went into my temp. internet files and copied the clip to another folder. I found that I had to make new IFO and BUP files though. Everything seems great. I almost bought the THX demo disc on Ebay for $54. Now I have all that I wanted for just the cost of a blank DVD. Now to just get my projector and theater room built.

I think I have a copy of that THX demo disc, that has the standard THX intro, and the TEX robot, along with some trailers and such.

Im making a compilation DVD, I have both the THX demo disc and the Dolby Digital demo disc on this compilation disc, along with all sorts of trailers.

Im tinkering with the idea of selling it on here (mainly for the scenes that look good on our PJs) Im going to include the DTS trailer if they have it on cinenow, along with some video calibration stills.

Go to the trading post section to find my thread about it

Scuba, I wouldn't sell it if I were you, that might get you in a whole wack of trouble.

im not ... it was deduced that I shouldnt. I knew it would be technically illegal, but Wasnt sure if there was any DRA workarounds. None the less, not really worth my time even If I did sell them.
