I've already started my projecter biggrin.gif but I've ran into a snag wink.gif I hope I can purchase an extention for this.

The board has a 40 pin female connector on it 5/8" long, the male end is a flat conductor strip that contains 10 circuits but the other side of the coductor strip is a solide copper this strip is paper thin, the solid side of the conductor strip is insulated at the end so tha it does not make contact with 20 pins on one side of the female connector, is there any hope or I can place this moniter in the incompatable list.

heres the female side

It's hard to be sure, because you're using an imperial tape measure there, and not one with extremely accurate measure, however...

I'd guess that that's a 20mm FFC, and a 20 conductor one should suit you. The LumenLab store says that they have one in stock:

LumenLab Store - FC20P FFC Extension 20 Pin

Check your cable against a metric ruler. If it's 20mm (2cm) then this is likely the cable that you need.

I count 9mm by that ruler.

looks like 3/8"

3/8 * 2.54 = .95

Heh. Actually, I'd bet on 10mm, 0.5mm pitch. It's larger than 3/8, but less than 7/16

My bad. I worked it out, then typed it wrong, and then looked it up based on what I typed. blink.gif

Though actually, I think that that product link is still by pure chance the correct one.

I still say use a metric ruler, and know for sure.
