Hey all! this is how i have my lighting set up, although its not working .... when i switch the power on , i can hear the ballast buzzing but their is no light :S. could someone take a look at my diagram and tell me if it is correct?

I can't tell you if your wiring is correct because I can't wire a coil and core ballast, but I will say I strongly recommend finding out from someone that does know, before you turn it on again, ie don't try and work it out though trial and error. I had Problems and whilst trying to figure it out I blew up 2 bulbs. Theres quite a bit of information and debate about that type of wiring with the coil ballast with capacitor and ignitor in the "Eyebaths Lighting Thread" in this forum which may be of help.

it was wired by a professional electrician , But it doesnt work lol

Any luck yet andy? I have had the same problem once or twice, but no damage to my lamp as of yet. Have you contacted the electrician who wired it?

The electrician is my dad he thinks the ignitor is wrong. even tho bltdirect matched them up. ive bought a new ignitor so its on the way! fingers crossed she'll work

My wiring is correct if anyone else needs to use it. they sent me the wrong ignitor! argh. I got a new one. put it in then it was fine
