I reakon alot of people including me are going to want to mod their standard 15" ers to accomodate the Pro lens (eg using standard condenser and pro field). I would want to do this with a once folded adaptation to the front part of the projector to keep the length down. Dont want to flip the LCD, would have to add and change to much. So...
Does anyone know of any gfx cards or programs that can flip the screen to allow us to do this?
Apologies if this has been asked before. Ive looked on the net but there is just so much garbage that comes with the obvious search words that I gave up.
Cheers.
No, nobody found nothin? The benq would actually be very easy to flip as ffcs would fold under the panel so you could have the electronics on the same side.
But I went and permanently mounted the LCD in its plastic frame against the metal one, dont know if those ffcs will go around that metal frame, darn it, its gonna have to be a longen.

the Nvidia software that came with my GFX5200 card can do this as well as other cool stuff like trapaziodal adjustment (usefull for digital keystone correction). If you'rr planning on using an HTPC exclusively, this would work fine for you, but if you want an N6 or something, it would only flip the screen while using a PC...
Thanks OKflyboy, that's made my day.
I’m really happy with the picture results of my projector but that box always feels too close for comfort when watching a movie. Now you’ve just given me the final piece of the puzzle to put it unobtrusively upright on the back wall projecting over our heads.
Cheers.
Just the excuse i needed to get a new gfx card, yehey
ps with regard to the up converters, its true that such a set up would rule them out. But I had a very cheap (£24 - $50?) TV card in my pc a last year (now given away) that had an s-video in that allowed me to play the gamecube (without any lag) on the monitor. I cant remember the make, but the picture was fine and the window was resizable like a pc dvd player. I shall investigate.
Thanks again.
