I know it's a dumb question, but when im looking at the capacitor with the writing facing straight at me, how can you tell which is positive and negative?

Please help me gents im so close to completing this project!

Don't you use a fuse not capacitor?

There is ussually a minus sign on one side or a line down the length of the capacitor.

thanks for the advice gents, iv got it sorted, i read eyebaths wiring guide from top to bottom, and he says that the capacitor he used (the same as mine) is polarized so it doesnt make a difference what *technical term coming up* hole i shove it in.

you would mean that it isnt polarized .... a polarized cap has a postive and negative side ..... a non-polarized can work either way .....

generally if the polarity is not clearly labled then it will be non-polarized ....
