I was just wondering how people have been cutting their fresnels without damaging them or getting any dust or had oil on the lenses. I need to get my fresnels to a height of 9 inches. I realize that I must cut them so that they are still centered about my light source and the projection lens, but do not know what to use for the cutting. I was thinking of using a dremel tool. PLEASE HELP as this is my final step in putting my projector together! Thanks biggrin.gif

I would ho to home depot, and get 2 pieces of lexan that I could sandwich the fresnel between leaving the part to be cut, the using a plexiglass cutting knife score the fresnel 2-3 times on the line to be cut then snap off. Keep in mind I have not cut my fresnels but this is how I would do it.
