About me I am a newbie to this site but I am very ethusiastic with this projector... After doing some research I find that nobody is knowing whats the best stuff to use for the project.


About my projector....I wont start any sooner I need to gather lots of money and verify my investment is worth(Your Help is always appreciated.)


Now I am planning to build HD Projector( I decided HD PJ coz thats where I see my PJ value.)

Question: What matter for better Image ? is high resolution or contrast ratio ?
I know both but what will be the priority...

I want to see the results of this kinda LCD and I am waiting on these guys coz I dont enough money to spend just like that and counting myself newbie...

I hope the difference is good (coz I keep telling everyone I am building 80" HDTV)

Fresnel Lens

How can you customize this lenses? I have heard that this WUXGA LCD are larger than Fresnel Lens from LL

silly question but to ask can u cut this lens if yes then you can customize ur pro fresnel lenses from LL

Another question about lens I heard that there is some kinda of lens with increases the brightness if so then we could get EXTRA BRIGHTNESS....

Now there is NO BEST projector, READ, READ, READ and then when your DONE, READ MORE. Lots of different methods.

For starters get a 15 BenQ 557V2 and use that to build, you will learn a lot and it's relatively cheap at ~$270Cdn.

For suppliers just read the Canadian Suppliers, it's not that hard, plus just order the lenses, triplet and ballast from Lumen Lab anyway, it's a PITA to make sure you getting the right stuff from other suppliers and in the end you want a working projector believe me I tried getting a local eballast and it was a pain. LL ships USPS so no brokerage fees.

You are talking like you've been here for ever, well guess what every single thing you said is in the forums, spend some time, I've been amassing parts for 2 1/2 months and still change my mind on sfuff especially keystoning.

You want to gather info that is what a PLOG is for, document your build there.
