I am gathering all my parts and am measuring the box for the different components. I have the larger bulb, and I was wondering how you mounted it on the ~45 deg. angle. I can't seem to find any material that will bend easily and still be able to support the weight. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I want to get it built this weekend!! (Just need the lenses and glass to get here and I will be set)
btw.....awesome site, great job!

I do a lot of stuff with the contruction components made for quick building framing. (Lowe's or Home Depot) They are galvanized steel brackets that come in a variety of shapes, angles, etc. They are easy to drill through to get a correct hole pattern. I think you could bend them once and they would still be rigid enough to support the lamp. Other than that, look through P-Logs and galleries.
Good luck !

Another solution would be to use a miter box and cut a piece of wood at 45 degrees and then everything bolted to that would also be 45 degrees. I know I've seen this in a few different projector logs, poke around and see what you find. This might be preferable as it maybe hard to bend exactly to 45.
