could someone convert the US guide wiring schematic for the UK,(read all the posts) still confusing, small wall prongs, big wall prongs, : : only live (hot) going in and out of switches, should'nt neutral be used? the spst switches i bought are 16amp rocker with 3 terminals,is it still only 10 amp fuses for 240v supply, if someone with electrical knowledge could make this as simple as possible i could take all the parts out of the boxes and start to build, am i the only one with these problems? and before someone say's all builds are different the basics should remain the same, make it dead easy, plug to wall colours of wire to switch to fan to lighting etc. tried to get answers before, not a lot of interest, which surprises me as it seems the most important part to it all, let's here from anybody with the same problem.

Yes It should be exactly the same ... just make sure that your componenets are all rated for 240V and 10Amps ... I'm building my first projector soon and thats what I'm going to do. If you look at your LCD or any of your main UK Comercial products they all come with 10Amp fuses. If you have an 10Amp inline fuse then the worse that can happen is that you blow it and nothing will be damaged. Make sure that your wire is rated for 250V and greater than 10Amp. Im going with some Twin and Earth wire (1.5mm) from Maplin rated at 20Amps just to make sure i dont burn the wire out (better safe than sorry) If you wait a week I'll let you know how i get on or i can help you while i do it smile.gif ! Would it help you if i gave you a list of components and suppliers that im using? Any more questions then just ask. I'm happy to help all the UK peeps out there smile.gif
