HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL.

I have a plan for my new P/J And I hope you good people could tell me if you think
it would work.

How do I post a picture?

Looks nice and should be workable. I would be concerned that the lamp mounting would obstruct the airflow too much and so I would make sure the air tube were large enough.

Looks pretty cool. It can certainly be made to work imho. The only thing I would note is that you probably don't want the fans venting the hot projector air towards the front where the throw lens is located. The hot air can distort the image (think of what you see when you look down a paved road on a really hot day). Otherwise, go for it!

Nice looking design.

couple of suggestions:

- fans blowing front, heat rises and ends up in our intake, I would move the fans to the back
- focus is spelled well as focus not foces biggrin.gif
- I'd be concerned about the rigitity of the mounting and also its blocking of the vent you would probbaly need to widen the box at the rear but consider horizontal mounting, this allows direct air flow form the bulb arc

Really nice design, though I might need to borrow a few of these ideas to have a prettier box that the wife would be more willing to have in the living room.

Great job, nice drawing.

Hey guys

Thanks. I was going to move the fans to the sides because of the noise.

Did not even think of heat waves in front of the lens. thanks, again.

The cooling air intake is under the projector box, between the two boxes.

I did not draw the lens and LCD frames.

FOCUS! FOCUS Druid!

Heres the changes.

Main box won't be heavy, 3/8 birch ply with rabbited solid birch corners.

mounting brackets will be solid birch also.

Just love that birch plywood! biggrin.gif
