Hi.

I want to build my first projector out of a 7" lilliput LCD. Its for my bedroom so the smaller the better. But I still want to watch movies on it and tv shows.

The 7" lilliput is going to cost me A$300.
I want to build a projector like the Pico one here: http://www.diyprojectorcompany.com/designs/pico.htm

But maybe a little bit smaller if I can. I want my projector to be 15cm high.

I will be buying the LCD panel soon and I was wondering what parts I should use.

1. What light source should I use? I don't really want to spend over A$100 but I will if I have to.

2. Which fresnel do I need to use?

3. Which projection lens would I need? Would a copy lens be ok?

Dont really want to buy the fresnel and lens pack off the lumenlab store because its a bit too expensive.

Hehe yeah, I can no longer get a 7" lilliput. So I am going to buy a 15" monitor and the guide and lens and fresnel kit from here.
