I have seen conflicting in fo about this LCD. The compatible monitors list shows this at 500:1 contrast and 16 ms response time, but I have seen elsewhere that it is 300:1 and 30ms. Does anyone know the truth, and if it is the lesser version, we should chage it on the monitors list. Thanks.

The reason for the confilicting information is that this monitor was manufactured by CMV and badged as the 1512. the 1512 is listed on CMV's website as 500:1 CR and 16ms RT. It was then re-badged the LiquidVideo for sale as an in-house brand exlusively for Circuit City. For some unknown reason, Circuit City advertised it as 300:1 30ms RT. IIRC, this conflict has never been conclusively resolved. I will say, however, that I have this LCD myself, and I'd tend to belive the higher specs...

Same here dude, had this monitor for a while. Very nice monitor, I hate to tear it apart for this project but I believe it will be well worth it.
