The movie theatre i work at is remodeling and we got new dvd slide projectors, they are the NEC VT670. This is quite suprising cuz its only UXGA for a THEATRE screen, i dont know how big my screen is, but its a LOT bigger than the max 25 feet. My opinion is we are going to replace the lenses, so would i be able to use the lens for a lumenlab? thanks
(ps, im getting a hold of the old motorized slide projectors also smile.gif

oh yea, can anyoner give me a list of the "random wires and switches" to build a lumenlab?
so far i know i need wire nuts, 2 dpst switches, screws, thermo, anything else
thanks

You probably only need one switch if your going to use the thermo cut-off... but don't forget the 120v 10amp fuse. Also... you need to decide if your going to use a 120v or 12vdc fan... if going with the 12vdc fan, you'll need a wal-wart type of converter.

I seriously doubt that lens would work as it is most likely made for a very small 'object'. However, specs on the lens would be good.
