can you make the proj without stripping panel.?
I came across this at (diy proj co)

Now that we have that done, try putting your LCD on the finished LCD tray. You need to make sure that the LCD doesn't hang over any of the edges of the tray, otherwise it won't fit inside the projector. This is no problem though since you can easily remove the LCD panel from its frame by removing several sets of screws. Assuming that your LCD fits fine on the first try, it should look something like this.

there is a picture of it but i dont know how to send it.

could someone let me know if this is possible,I can't fathom how the light would get threw to the lens.

They are using an OHP projector panel. These were made to sit directly on top of an OHP and require no stripping, but they are low res and have slow response times and just generally suck for DIY projection.
