what dimensions would my fresnels have to be to use a 21.5" screen for a projector? sure i'm being stupid, but drawing a blank as to why I have not found any attempts with one yet.
(assuming the other parts can be found, seems to be a cheap way for a 1080p attempt)

DON'T DO IT!

Why? Because even if you get the fresnels, you're going to end up with a dissapointing projection. The throw will be short, and the corners will be blurry. There's no way around it. Even with an expensive long throw lens. In the end you'll be better off buying a 15.4" WUXGA LCD. The cost of the LCD will be less than the extra cost of hte optics that it'll take to get a good image.

Edit: If you really want to know, look in the FAQ -- How big is my X" screen?

thanks, glad to know that before I ordered anything, must have missed that in the faq last night, saw the larger fresnels at http://www.bhlens.com/onlineshop/fresnel_lens.aspx and got hopeful laugh.gif
