I finnaly decided to get around to building a projector and I was wondering if THIS would be a good screen to use. Im trying to build a very small compact PJ and it looks like a pretty good screen.

It would work but it will be EXPENSIVE and he might not sell a single unit to you.

I had to work some magic to get them to sell me a 10.4" single unit two years ago smile.gif

And it's still just a 640x480 screen which will only look good up to about 85" diagonal.

The 7.2" screen is probably the best small screen to get right now.

By the way here is just about the same thing :

$200.......ouch. I guess ill either look for a ps1 screen or portable dvd player.

some portables also have inputs - which is my preference for a pj.

If not, then the single screens are relatively inexpensive.

PS1 screen is 320X240 res. 50-60" diagonal is about as far as you want to go there. Typical DVD player is 480X234. Same thing. 50-60" diagonal recommended max. That 7.2" is 1280X768 -- 720p, good to 120" diagonal easily.
