the problem is that my room gets to 50C with out the projector biggrin.gif
having 50C heat in will make my room even hotter + 50C is not all that cool to cool it with

this is the basic projector in the guide

So you want to have a closed loop system?

I'd be concerned about heat soak for one, but as long as you have an adequate radiator in the other room, this is entirely possible. It could also work with an air conditioner, but that's getting to be a bit much.

I believe that something similar has been done before, with the use of a large box fan and an old car radiator. I recall something like it being at the very least proposed before. That was not a closed system, however, since it was decided that fresh air intake would still be cooler than the recycled air in that case.

Edit: However, if you're going to run water lines into a cooler room, why not just run some 6" heater duct instead and exhaust the hot air that way? Simpler, and less which can go wrong. Less mess with water/coolant as well.

50C is way to hot for any room. Personally I would focus on creating a comfortable viewing / living environment before I'd worry about the projector.

I am just curious.

I live in a place where 28 - 34 degree is a norm. I can't imagine 50 degree environmental temp. Do u mind sharing where are you from?

My LCD chamber during trial firing logged a temp of 48 degree max. I really cannot imagine a mechanism on how to lower the LCD chamber temperature without using an Air-con system really.

A heater matrix out of a scrap car with a fan setup should do the trick.
