Whats the pros vs cons for 15" lcd to 17" lcd, i compared the focal lengths for the fresneles for the standard and pro and theres an 18 Inch Difference! does that mean my projector will be nearly 4 foot long!?

The focal length of the fresnels will not determine the length of the box. This is determined by the focal length of the triplet. Look at the diagram on this page of the zoom lens thread posted by Brain. The field lens focal length has been changed but it shows that the zoom lens is placed much closer to the panel than what you are thinking. The box will be longer than the origional projector, but it won't be 18"s longer, I believe that it will be about half that. I can't give you the exact extra length because this is new to me also, but you could probably find out what you need to know if you read the zoom lens thread. It's only 34 pages long. smile.gif
