I think the power board on my IN26+EP has died. No lights, fans or illuminations when it is powered up. Just totally lifeless. The fuse on the board is OK. I know the LP600 used to suffer similar problems where one of the 100uf 16V 85° capacitor used to overheat and fail where it was so close to an IC. The power board on my IN26+EP looks ok, nothing burnt or anything, however I have replaced a 100uf 25V 105° capacitor nearest to an IC with another used/desoldered one just by gut instinct really but still not working. Not sure if the replaced capacitor is any good as has been taken out of a unit growing dust for years. Any advise from anyone will be much appreciated.

I've posted some pics of the power board if it helps?

Have changed 3 capacitors now. Still no luck. I'm now thinking if one of the IC's have messed up. not happy but will not give up.

Check that none of those power transistors has shorted tot he heatsink. Unscrew the package, and look at the pad behind it. If there's any signs of damage there, assume that the transistor/MOSFET is damaged, and replace it.

Checked the MOSFETs and no signs of burns or apparent damage to pads or MOSFETs. Thought I'd try the old hairdryer trick before boxing up together again by heating up the board and the caps. I have now run out of ideas. Maybe it is not the power board and ballast but rather the DMD controller board or the board where the power buttons and other feature botton goes onto (whatever that is call). BTW, tested the lamp on my other projector and thats all good. Any other suggestions?
