thank you in advance.

There will generally be a wiring diagram on the ballast somewhere, which will detail how these are to go together. There shoud be at least labels on the terminals.

120VAC/240VAC/317VAC/(whatever voltage, multi-tp ballasts will generally have a few of these.) This terminal goes to a switched and fused live power.

COM (There may be 2 of these.) One of them goes to your power Neutral, the other one goes to the Mogul socket. (Outside edge is safer, but it doesn't really matter.)

LAMP (or Igniter) This one will go to the terminal marked "Ballast" on the igniter.

There are 3 possible terminals for the igniter. You could get either/or one that says "LAMP" which goes to the center pin on the mogul socket, and you could get one that says "COM" which goes to the neutral power line. There may be an additional line back to the ballast instead though. You really should look for a diagram from the manufacturer of the ballast.

Generally that's it.

Sometimes there will also be a capacitor, which will be wired in between the +120/240/317VAC terminal and COM as well.

Hello, thank you for the fast reply. Is this right? and i also tried to find a diagram for the ballast but couldn't.

Try a better picture of the ballast and igniter, it will probably help.

I think that you're right about the igniter "B" and "N" terminals.

The ballast should have 1 terminal 220V -- that gets connected to 220V "Live" It should also have an "N" terminal, which will get connected to the other "Neutral" on your 220V power. This is your primary power input.

That will also connect to the "N" terminal on the igniter, and to the outside of the mogul socket.

It should have an "I" terminal as well. *(Guessing) This will go to the "B" terminal on your igniter.

Hopefully that illustrates what I'm talking about.

When asking for help with specific parts, it's always better to provide the exact make and model number of the parts in question (ballast and igniter). That way, we can look up the spec sheets and provide the answer without all the back and forth.
