Hi guys!
Today I fired up the projector but the bulb would not light up. After waiting about 5 minutes without it firing, I turned the projector off and waited about 15 minutes.
I opened up the projector and with a paper towel, started to very slowly unscrew the bulb. But as soon as I started, The glass base of the bulb broke!
I have always been extremely careful with my bulb, and very irritated that it broke (and I've only put about 1,000 hours on it).
I purchased the bulb from LumenLab, and was wondering if there is any type of warranty for my bulb (I dont think there is, but I'm just checking).

Also, what happened to the projector portion of the LL store?
And if I have to buy another bulb, what do you guys suggest getting?
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. I really appreciate it!

Here are pics of the bulb now

I'd contact sales@lumenlab.com and ask them about the lamp. They might be illing to do something for you, but for lamps which have been broken after receipt, it's hard to say. It could have happened for a number of reasons, most of which are not the responsibility at all of LL, or the lamp manufacturers.

I would NOT use that lamp any more myself.

For a replacement, an Ushio PS lamp would be an acceptable alternative. It's 4000K colour temp, instead of 6500K, so the blues will be a bit weaker. I did a comparison of the two lamps in my PLOG. I can say that from the perspective of sitting in front of the projection, both lamps look fine. Some things will look better with the 4000K lamp, and some will look better with the 6500K lamp.

Basically any lamp in the T15 form factor (Particularly those specified for an ANSI M59 ballast) will do as a suitable replacement, with a colour temp of 4000K to 6500K. If you have the electronic ballast, the Ushio S400DD lamp (For the S51 ballast) is a very good choice, too.

I sent an E-mail to LL on the 20th of August. They never replied.
So I'm gonna start looking for a Ushio Pulse start lamp.
Thanks for the reply SupraGuy!
