Instead of dropping $170 on a n6, would i be able to use one of these rca to VGA cables to use on my lumenlab?
http://4vhc.zoovy.com/product/253512IV?met...altime-253512IV
i already have a tv tuner and dvd player on my computer so playing my xbox is my only concern right now

anyone fins cheaper alternatives around this?

xbox dosent use component, do they have component adapters for xbox or any that go from composite to component

N6 is $30 on Ubid.com

Also of note, the adapter that you linked to will not convert a component signal to VGA or vice-versa. Those cables are designed for specific commercial projectors that are able to accept both a VGA or component signal through a single VGA-style input. So, that cable will not work for our application. (Alas, if it were that simple, few would spend the $$ on an N6, I know I wouldn't have...)

Microsoft X-Box Hi Definition AV AV Cable

The XBOX is the only console to offer high definition games at 720p and 1080i.
PS2 can only do 480p.
