hi im building my projector and was wandering what would be the best way to mount my lcd

Well, for starters, you're going to need an FFC extension, since your monitor has an FFC issue.

Once that's done, I would build a frame that holds the LCD and allows the edge connectors to be accessed. The easiest way to do this is generally to re-use the LCD frame that it came with, and mount that to a "sled"

ive already ordered my ffc extention

but now that i look at it, im pretty sure my frame can be re-used after some minor modifications

If you still have the metal/plastic frame that the LCD came in, I'd recommend that you re-insert the LCD back in the frame after modding it so that light will pass through the LCD. Check out my PLOG for an example on how this is done.
Something else you might consider doing is to reinforce those FFCs with either Silicone II or maybe clear packing tape. The FFCs are really fragile and I'd hate to see you damage them. Google: site:lumenlab.com reinforce FFC
