I have found many diagrams for wiring but none seem to reflect what I have. I have a ballast with 7 wires

2 Wires from Ballast to Cap
2 COM connected only to the ballast
1 120
1 240
1 LAMP

What I have read is that COM to power input. 1 wire from CAP to lamp Socket and the LAMP wire to Lamp Socket.

Here is a picture of how it looks at the moment. I am thrown off by both wires to the CAP being wired directly to the Ballast.

Thanks in advance for the help.
No I do not have a model number for the Ballast.
The only information I have is on the CAP:

AEROVOX 2592-RMF
24uF +/-3% 400VAC 50/60 HZ 90C
Protected P 10000 AFC NO PCB'S
C22.2 NO 190 MADE IN USA 0629

1X COM goes to the NEUTRAL line from A/C power.

1X COM goes to the lamp. Prefferably this would go to the outside in a mogul socket, but this isn't 100% necessary. (It's just a bit safer.)

LAMP goes to the central pin on your mogul socket, or basically the other end of your lamp.

Either the 120 or 240 line will go to the live on your A/C power, depending on what your supply voltage is where you are. In North America, it'll be 120V. Most of Europe and Australia, it'll be 240.

thanks for the response. I had a pretty good feeling you would know what to do. THANKS.

I am in the US so I will go with 120.

Now that the light is sorted it should not be too much longer before I can post completed pics.

Thanks for the help.
