Don't ask me why but when I received my polars they were removed from the lcd. They have always been separate from it until now, but they have gathered the dust over teh past year. The dust is on the sticky part of the polars. Is there any way I can remove this? Or is there anyway I can ruin the polar? I think I may try soaking them in water first then maybe using other things like goo be gone.

Does that mean that the polarisers have adhesive on them, and the adhesive has trapped dust?
Well, if you're not going to glue them to the LCD (And after this time, I'd recommend against it, as it would be impossible to avoid air bubbles.) then you could wash them in warm, soapy water until the glue dissolves. Don't scrub them hard -- you don't want to scratch the polarising layer.
At worst, you're looking to buy new polarizing film...
